Our nursery is in the Casalone di Norchia locality of Viterbo.
02 What makes you specialists?
Rather than offering various types of tree, we have focused on hazelnuts. This has enabled us to become specialists in the sector.
Through our 50+ years’ experience, we have gained in-depth knowledge of all aspects of production: hazelnut grove preparation, cultivation, processing and sale.
03 Do you also offer after-sales support?
Yes. We continue to assist producers and farmers after sales.
04 What is the minimum quantity for placing an order?
The minimum quantity per individual order is 25 young trees.
05 Do you also provide transport?
We do not provide transport directly, but we can recommend the best solution for arranging shipping of your trees to your business.
06 Do your trees come with certification and an EC passport?
Yes, the Sant’Isidoro nursery is a certified nursery, registered and accredited by the Regional Phytosanitary Service (SFR) in accordance with current CAC legislation. Our nursery is listed in the Official Register of Professional Operators (registration number RUOP IT- 12-1076, business centre VT/01). Our young trees originate from certified mother trees. The body that certifies our company each year is
Bioagricert.
For absolute transparency, we enter our data into the
SIAN (Italian National Agricultural Information System) database where you can check our certification status for yourself.
07 When I purchase from you, can I access European funding?
Yes, our trees are certified in accordance with EU legislation and duly accompanied by an EC passport. When you purchase them, you can benefit from European Structural Funds accessible through the Rural Development Programme (RDP) and Local Action Groups (LAGs).
08 Do you only offer sale of hazelnut trees?
We do not only offer sales: we oversee all aspects of production:
- preliminary production (we collect shoots from mother plants);
- cultivation at our nursery;
- sales;
- hazelnut grove installation;
- after-sales support.
09 Can you guarantee traceability of your trees?
Certainly. We are a certified nursery, so all our young trees follow a fully traceable process, from collection of shoots from certified mother trees to sale of the young trees, in accordance with the requirements of EU legislation on organic production.
